The Asia Pacific region has been one of the key drivers of growth for the global petrochemical industry with various large‐scale projects underway and coming online. In light of this, 350 key industry stakeholders are expected to converge at the 2nd Petrochemical Asia when it returns to Bangkok on 18&19 June 2013 to discuss emerging issues and opportunities as a result of Asia’s steady growth.
To address the key concerns of the industry, a confirmed speaker faculty consisting of industry Experts from major companies such as SCG Chemicals, Petro Vietnam, Mitsui Chemicals, PTT and ABB have been selected together with a comprehensive conference programme.
In addition, Petrochemical Asia will also feature a targeted exhibition with international exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and services as well as a new feature for this year‐ the Singapore Pavilion. With the support from the Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation (SMF), Singapore companies will be able to receive subsidies up to 50% under an initiative that is aimed at supporting local businesses in their participation of trade association and chamber led activities.
This year, the senior level conference will focus on optimising engineering processes to overcome Chemical manufacturing challenges within a rapidly shifting market. Sally Tan, Project Director for Petrochemical Asia says that, “presenters from key operators to technology vendors in the petrochemical industry will cover a range of topics that will provide the attendees with crucial market forecasts while updating them on the latest innovations and case studies from regional projects.” Initial confirmed speakers include:
