The Routine Scheduler implements the scheduling function for Running Maintenance and ensures timely execution of maintenance work and minimize the cost of execution through optimized resource utilization by scheduling both preventive and corrective work.

Accountabilities:
  • Import and maintain a logical network of activities for Routine Maintenance in the Refinery.
  • Maintain and optimize a resource leveled schedule based on manpower inputs from Execution team with a frozen first-week schedule 100% loaded, an approved second-week schedule 80% loaded and a third week 70% loaded look ahead
  • Drive accountability for daily schedule updates and compliance with agreed completion dates
  • Validate job plan details and provide feedback to planning as required.
  • Maintain a clear overview of the volume of prepared corrective/preventive backlog work orders as well as their priorities to decide when to bring the work into the specific week for execution
  • Combine activities for efficient execution, reducing losses in required time for work preparation, work execution and work closure
  • Produce daily, weekly prelim and weekly final schedules and create weekly baselines for tracking purposes.
  • Facilitate a Weekly/Daily Meeting schedule as outlined below.
    • Communicate to stakeholders and publish schedule to SharePoint
    • Produces 6 weeks lookahead Histograms and support Routine execution with manpower forecast
    • Produce weekly Earned Value (EV) report including analysis of the results
    • Verify synchronization between GSAP and Primavera, via Impress
    • Provide earned value data to cost organization for CPI calculationsCommunicate with other maintenance schedulers for shared resources and services
    • Update Daily Tracker for exceptions – not complete, and rescheduled work
    • Work with OMC to make sure finish date don’t go pass LAFD without approval as per deferral process.
    • Issue weekly One Site Schedule
    • Maintains projects coding in Primavera.
    • Provide support with Team Member tool for schedule updates
    • Subject Matter Expert of the Scheduling process in Routine Maintenance

Required Qualifications

 
  • Technologist or Journeyman
  • Minimum of 5 years Oil and Gas experience or Manufacturing or Chemicals background
  • Experienced in Trades or Journeyman
  • Strong experience in Primavera or SAP
  • Proven records in maintenance scheduling.
  • Reliability/Integrity or Turnaround experience is a plus.
