Support, execute and assist in the development of Stocking Policies, Performance Measures, and Strategies as directed from the Site CP Manager and Materials Lead that align with site expectations.  
  • To implement and execute Standardized Processes utilizing a common toolset across Downstream Manufacturing sites in support of the business processes to ensure inventory accuracy, reliability, quality/preservation, data quality, as well as right sizing/optimizing the Site's inventory levels while also supporting the site operational and business plan.
  • To analyze and execute MRP Stock Replenishment to ensure that our customers have the right part, right quantity, right time, right place, right price--- 99%.
  • To support the business in implementing and sustaining new Materials Management standards that address Critical Equipment Management roles, Critical Equipment Masters and Parts BOM’s, Preservation Work and Technical Material Reviews.Deliver results:
    • a) MM $ Value results,
    • b) MM KPI’s , and
    • c) Basic Work ScorecardTo act as back-up to the Site Materials Lead as required by CP Site Materials Lead and/or CP Site Lead.
  • Use and implement our MM Standard Operating Procedures and Tools
  • Review & approve all inventory requests (adds, changes, deletes) to ensure alignment with stocking policies and strategies. Work proactively with site users to create shared understanding of needs, decisions and promptly address all stock related issues and concerns.
  • Review and reduce dormant stocking levels
  • Review and reduce excessive stocking levels
  • Support, work and share details of all inventory best practices across the sites.
  • Provide inventory work & support to all warehouse moves /consolidations
  • Provide inventory work and support to implementation of all inventory Marshalling and Stage-It programs and vendor delivery point of use programs.
  • Review and proactively identify and correct deficiencies related to inventory records, material masters and catalog records.
  • Update all spare part criticality codes to ensure alignment with site equipment criticality and reliability.
  • Update all supplier lead times to ensure accuracy for stock level decisions
  • Review and drive increased BOM (equip to parts cross-references) with appropriate site technical focal points within the various disciplines.
  • MRP Planning - Review and submit orders for stock replenishment and optimization.
  • Review outstanding Material Reservations and submit to CP Ops Buyers expediting as necessary.
  • Coordinate and process all stock repair purchase orders.
  • Review & approve all returns to stock to control and prevent excessive stock - returning excessive Stock Material to Vendors as necessary.
  • Run, review and develop KPI reports and inventory scorecard.
  • Focal point to investigate all stock outs and identify and record fix and root cause analysis.
  • Focal point for all inventory cycle count discrepancy count issues and SAP ledger adjustments.
  • Provide monthly review of inventory transactions and report monthly Inventory Status of Accounts to Finance
  • Provide monthly completion of all inventory adds, deletes, inventory stock level changes, and stock avoidances.
  • Provide Customer plant training on inventory processes and tools
  • Maintain effective and efficient working relationships with the business focal points to ensure stock material integrity.
  • Provide contributions to development, implementation and accuracy of all procedures and policies.
  • Work with Procurement Managers to assure stocking changes for new or revised supplier initiatives are correct.
  • Support the sites Turnaround and Project requirements as they related to inventory management.
