Reporting to the team leader, operations enablement, you will be responsible for the business-owned processes and tasks within our retail loyalty systems, including resolving system issues, enhancement requirement gathering, guest account issues and corrections, manual bonus points issuance, execution of PIN promotions and user acceptance testing (UAT).  You will work with, and support other teams, such as marketing services, business support, associate support centre, information and process management (I&PM) and card operations, as related to the retail loyalty systems and promotions.

  • Work with I&PM teams to resolve system issues, detail enhancements, reporting, and act as an interface to our marketing business
  • Provide support to operationalize business strategy on new or existing loyalty systems
  • Complete data analysis of promotions used to support the execution of member bonuses in our retail loyalty system and associated databases
  • Review and advise the business on marketing promotions impacting the Petro-Points program and its supporting systems
  • Execute UAT for our retail loyalty systems, car wash and card management systems
  • Execute quality assurance testing for marketing promotions
  • Provide adhoc analysis and reports in support of the marketing business and our loyalty partners
  • Support projects impacting retail loyalty and related web systems
  • Work with third parties to set-up loyalty partner rewards, bonuses and promotions, ensure system maintenance and enhancement, documentation and fraud monitoring
  • Look proactively for continuous improvement opportunities to simplify our systems and processes and to improve reliability of our loyalty systems

Required Qualifications

  • Five or more years of business experience in a retail systems environment; experience supporting loyalty, database or back office applications is preferred
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is an asset
  • University degree is preferred in business, mathematics, computer technology
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

  • Above average understanding of SQL and database query tools; exposure to oracle database and Microsoft BI is an asset
  • Advanced analytical skills and mindset with meticulous attention to detail
  • You are dynamic with strong communication, non-authoritative leadership skills and a customer service mindset
  • Expert problem solving, project management skills and incident management techniques
  • Proven time management and work organization skills as related to meeting multiple deadlines and ability to prioritize
