The Hydrocarbon Yield Analyst assures the integrity and accuracy of the mass balance data for site, tank and unit production, inventories and yield analysis and reporting.

Accountable for the data validation between connected systems (OMM/TIS, PI, OAS, Advisor, DataRec model, and GSAP).

Needs to become a specialist in the various hydrocarbon management systems, and understand the connections between the hydrocarbon streams as they are recorded in the different systems.

Responsible for collaborating with Finance, Logistics, Engineering, Quality Assurance (LAB), and Economics & Scheduling to ensure accurate, reconciled records of all hydrocarbon-related purchase, sales, production and input information.

Responsible for validating daily inventory reports, as well as, daily, monthly, and annual refinery mass and volume balance reports. Investigates and resolves apparent mass/volume balance anomalies: meter data issues, tank level changes, unit yield shifts, etc. ensuring generation of timely and accurate submission of weekly, monthly, and annual DOE (EIA) reports and monthly financial close to various stakeholders and government regulatory agencies. 

The Hydrocarbon Yield Analyst pursues continuous improvement of the suite of computer models and tools, as well as, finding efficiencies in the process and sharing the learnings across the team and across the organization.

The Yield Analyst must adhere to the financial closing schedule, participate in the finance weekly call with Financial Operations (Manila) and be a member of the loss control team.
