The Warehouse Assistant Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring the inventory operations runs smooth and efficient within the Sweeny Refinery Warehouse. Overseeing all materials received, stored, shipped, and reported.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Managing SAP interface including access approval for inventory access.

  • Managing the replenishment of inventory with Purchasing Specialists' assistance using SAP.

  • Prioritizing workloads with warehouse reports.

  • Working closely with buyer, planner, engineer, contract service provider, sales representative, trucking and delivery service provider, safety and environmental and upper management.

  • Multitasking with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.

  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing repairs such as Hot Shots and follow up on all required shipping Documents as per SAP functions and/or repair equipment procedures reports.

  • Overseeing that materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance with established procedures.

  • Reviewing effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization, and protection of material.

  • Making recommendations for improvements as required.

  • Interfacing with maintenance to insure performance requirements are being met.

  • Providing clear direction and guidance to warehouse contractor supervisors to complete required procession functions.

  • Monitoring metrics and adjusts operations as appropriate up to and including GR Reports working with contract labor force.

  • Assisting Senior Phillips 66 Inventory Analysts with various project functions.

  • Assisting in warehouse training and mentoring.

  • Resolving all Problem issue with RMA’s, no purchase orders packages, wrong material, pricing and shortages.

  • Resolving incoming cancelation and postings coming into other locations throughout the refinery.

  • Interfacing with current labor force Supervisor for general directions.

  • Responsible for shipping hazardous material.

Required Qualifications

 
  • Legally authorized to work in job posting country

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • 1 or more years of experience in specialized programs (SharePoint, Live Link, SAP, Onqua, Staging Tool)

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Ability to operate a Sit or Stand Forklift

  • Familiar with DOT and IAdta shipping standards

  • Strong interpersonal and customer focus skills; work with many diverse internal customers

The Sweeny Refinery is located in Old Ocean, Texas. Refinery facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization, and aromatics units, as well as access to the on-site vacuum tower and delayed coking unit, which is an asset owned by Phillips 66 Partners. Sweeny processes heavy, high-sulfur crude oil and some light, low sulfur crude oil. Domestic, Canadian and other foreign crude oil is transported by truck, pipeline, marine transportation and terminals. The refinery produces a high percentage of transportation fuels. Other products include petrochemical feedstocks, heating oil and petroleum coke. The refinery receives crude oil by pipeline and via tankers, through terminals on the Gulf Coast, including a deepwater terminal at Freeport. Refined products are distributed throughout the Midcontinent region, southeastern and eastern United States by pipeline, barge and rail car. Refined products are also exported to Latin America by waterborne cargo.
