Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, you will be essential in maintaining the reliability of the refinery’s production capabilities while maintaining and improving their skills and knowledge-sharing with others. You will install, service, and repair different plant equipment and participate and assist in establishing an environment which reflects craft flexibility and teamwork.

  • Take and analyze vibration readings throughout refinery
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Implement preventative and predictive programs/assignments for mechanical systems
  • Participate in failure analysis discussions
  • Maintain equipment histories as required
  • Plan jobs, including assessment and selection of material
  • Work effectively in a flexible team environment and communicate clearly with all others
  • Assist other maintenance and/or production technicians as required

Required Qualifications


  • Experience with Bentley Nevada Systems and CSI hardware
  • Safety conscious individual who understands, appreciates, and demonstrates safe work practices
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of W.H.M.I.S. and OH&S regulations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment

Working Conditions

  • Some heavy lifting, confined space work, use of ladders, and working on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers is required
  • Ability to work in a variety of different work environments both indoors and outdoors is needed
