Reporting to the director, retail and site operations, you will be Suncor's representative within a framework of operations management support for the service stations of our partners and major clients. You will be accountable for standard procedure compliance, site execution (related to total loss management), guest service, loyalty programs and overall business growth.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with our partners and major clients, and ensure operational execution is aligned with site execution, and adhere to the Petro-Canada brand standards
  • Transmit the required information and provide the needed support for the deployment of marketing initiatives
  • Maximize performance objectives through development and execution of action plans so that site/territory and district execution standards are achieved
  • Deliver financial and operational objectives for the territory, through off-site and on-site reviews and develop corrective action plans
  • Act as our representative in contractual relationships with retail dealers within the territory
  • Build and manage the relationships with a wide variety of dealers
  • Operationalize safety initiatives
  • Provide leadership in sales, operations and financial management
  • Build the team's knowledge of operational performance

Required Qualifications

  • 3 - 10 years of experience in direct sales and relationship building
  • Experience conducting general economic evaluations for independent business owners
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, commerce, marketing or engineering
  • Possess a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record

  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Knowledge of operating a small business and an aptitude for carrying out broad economic analyses
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • You have expert negotiating skills in order to influence decisions and achieve consensus while building relationships and credibility
  • Well-developed and proven problem solving and decision-making skills, with highly developed interpersonal, communication, and non-authoritative leadership skills
  • Ability to present ideas, deliver presentations and build positive relationships throughout all levels of the organization

Working Conditions

  • Home office environment with travel to the Montreal office
  • A company vehicle will be provided
  • Extensive travel throughout your territory is required
