Description

The Supervisor Planning and Scheduling Routine Maintenance manages all of the Routine Maintenance Planners and Schedulers. He/she gives directions, set priorities and is fully responsible for all Routine Maintenance Planning and Scheduling activities focusing on

cost management, continuous improvement and people development while not compromising on safety or quality. The Planning and Scheduling Supervisor reports to the Planning and Scheduling Superintendent.

Responsibilities may include :

  • Facilitate the building and/or development of the refinery Routine Maintenance planning and scheduling processes
  • The Planning and Scheduling Supervisor has direct functional contact and oversight of all of the Routine Maintenance Planners and Schedulers
  • Responsible for the effective and efficient planning and scheduling of all Routine Maintenance Zone and Central Maintenance work performed by P66 or Contract Planners and Schedulers
  • Responsible for the quality and the accuracy of the plans and schedules produced by the P66 and Contract Routine Maintenance Planners and Schedulers
  • Responsible for the supervision, development and training of the refinery Planners and Schedulers
  • Ensure efficient and seamless flow of information to the Maintenance Front Line Supervisors such that the maintenance schedule can be implemented
  • Attend regular meetings with operations to ensure that maintenance schedule and corrective work are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered based on priority
  • Accountable for the planning, scheduling and compliance reporting of all Regulatory and Reliability Preventative Maintenance in the refinery
  • Review and evaluate performance of assigned contractors working on the routine maintenance schedule
  • Manage and review planning and scheduling metrics, implementing improvement plans where necessary

Safety :

  • Demonstrate personal commitment to health, safety & environmental compliance with WRR standards
  • Responsible for your own health/safety as well as health/safety of assigned employees and contractors
  • Ensure 100% compliance with WRR safety procedures (Permitting, LOTO, PPE, etc) by P66 and contract employees
  • Assures HSE requirements are considered and integrated into the activities of each team member
  • Conducts a minimum of one Layered Field Safety Audit per month and assures direct reports comply with this requirement

Qualifications

Basic/Required :

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 or more years of supervision experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Proficient with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Engenium and Symphonic modules

Preferred :

  • 5 or more years of maintenance, engineering and/or construction experience
  • 3 or more years of refining or petrochemical experience
  • Organized, selfmotivated, proactive, creative and results oriented
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Able to plan, schedule, manage risk, analyze cost/benefits and implement accordingly
  • Able to understand requirements, recognize issues, concerns and proactively address issues and concerns
  • Able to take action in the absence of immediate direction
  • Able to maintain relationships to accomplish business objectives while meeting interpersonal needs
  • Able to maintain trust by fulfilling commitments and speaking the truth in difficult circumstances
