Are you looking to join a team where you can expand on your quality management (QM) governance skills in a dynamic information technology (IT) project environment? Reporting to the manager, quality management and test, you will work collaboratively within a matrix environment to maintain and promote QM methodologies and tools across our Information and Process Management (I&PM) projects. You will provide technical leadership and governance in designing sound test strategies and plans associated with complex projects, to mitigate risks and increase efficiencies pertaining to application and infrastructure performance.


  • Govern the implementation of the quality management processes and procedures and build the test automation and performance framework and capabilities to support the optimal delivery of our solutions
  • Ensure content and structure of all testing documents and artifacts (including testing approach, testing scenarios, conditions and expected results) are documented, monitored and maintained
  • Assume a leadership role across I&PM projects by building and executing a strategy for maintaining and promoting QM toolsstandard methodologies, including Quality Centre, Performance Centre and Unified Functional Testing (UFT)
  • Govern the development and implementation of technical testing activities such as performance, load, volume and stress testing
  • Act as a central point of contact for project teams for the QM technical services, and govern the QM tools deployed on projects
  • Steward the demand management process for the QM technical activities and advise on prioritization within projects
  • Assist in implementing and adhering to quality management standards, policies and procedures
  • Act as the expert for our HP Quality Centre tool in order to perform the administrator role to setup and manage new and existing projects
  • Provide indirect supervision of the resources allocated by the sustainment and outsourcing vendors to provide QM technical work for projects

Required Qualifications

 
  • 10 years of experience in governing and executing complex IT quality management processes and procedures
  • Strong working experience with performance and automation testing
  • Prior work experience within a large corporate matrix environment; oil and gas industry is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or business; Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) is an asset

  • Strong governance and coordination skills and the ability to manage the activities of multiple technical project tasks over multiple geographic areas
  • Deep understanding of the technical Quality Management processes (performance, load, volume, stress testing) and tools (Quality Centre, Performance Centre, UFT)
  • Exceptional continuous improvement mindset
  • You have strong decision-making, innovation and creativity skills in solving problems, resolving conflicts and meeting project requirements
  • You are an expert level user of HP Quality Centre, HP Performance Centre and UFT
  • You possess solid communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively interface and build strong relationship with the broader project team and third party vendors
