Reporting to the team leader, finance and planning, field logistics, you will play an integral role in carrying out enterprise-wide finance and planning activities, while being responsible for financial analysis, forecasting, planning and performance reporting.

  • Communicate financial performance, strategies and drivers to the leadership and finance stakeholders
  • Identify and understand key business value drivers and performance metrics
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and clearly communicate findings
  • Interpret and translate complex issues and present the information to a non-technical audience
  • Coordinate and deliver the forecast, budget and business planning deliverables presented to senior leaders
  • Build and implement improvements in performance reporting, planning processes and deliverables
  • Assist with preparation and development of monthly performance management reports for leadership and finance stakeholders
  • Provide direction and coaching to junior staff and team members
  • Contribute project support as required and respond to ad hoc queries
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry and market dynamics

Required Qualifications

  • Six or more years of related financial experience, including business and economic analysis and synthesis of financial and qualitative data from multiple sources
  • Undergraduate university degree in business, finance, economics or a related field
  • Professional designation such as a CPA, CFA and/or MBA is preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required to analyze large amounts of data and integrate with other tools
  • Advanced SAP and Business Warehouse reporting (BW) as well as Powerpoint and Livelink
  • Microsoft Power BI business analytics reporting skills are an asset
  • Broad understanding of our assets, business areas and value proposition
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to process a large amount of data, extract and communicate insights
  • You work cohesively in a team environment, collaborating and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
  • Self-motivated and the ability to identify improvements to the status quo and recommend solutions
  • Adaptable to change with the ability to balance competing priorities and produce high-quality deliverables under tight timelines with limited data
  • You continually seek greater knowledge about the systems, processes and reporting practices, in order to understand and apply a broader business and stewardship view
