Job Overview

Reporting to the director, business enablement, you will provide sales and marketing business knowledge and experience to special projects and programs within the transaction and card strategy department and across cross-functional teams.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify, develop, review and approve business outcomes and requirements, business readiness, communications, testing, and training plans for projects
  • Work with partners to define business issues and opportunities as well as requirements and outcomes
  • Review various deliverables including the plans, charters, design, testing, training, go live, migration and implementation
  • Highlight areas of proposed changes to the project as well as providing expertise in the analysis of impacts (scope, schedule and cost)
  • Communicate process changes and risk mitigation plans with business partners
  • Work with the business to assess and analyze business opportunities and issues and provides input into the development of business cases to reflect the business value represented by implementing them
  • Execute retail and wholesale business system initiatives as directed by business strategy through strong project and change management capabilities

Required Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • 5 – 10 years of experience with retail and wholesale systems, payment and transaction processes
  • Advanced business knowledge of Wholesale operations and sales processes and strategy and in particular CRM
  • Above average knowledge and understanding of the Wholesale applications and the operations they enable/support

    5 or more years of project management experience and knowledge of standard processes and tools (on time and on budget)

  • University degree in business or related discipline

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Understand financial concepts used in business case evaluation including profitability and key financial indicators (CF, NPV, IRR) 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent ability to critically analyze processes and advise on improvements
  • Ability to manage and inspire change
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of standard processes and tools (ADEM) and execution expertise - on time and on budget (5+ years’ experience or several complex initiatives)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Develop effective relationships with peers, senior leaders and project team members
  • Continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities to simplify the systems and/or processes
  • Able to multi-task and balance priorities while adapting productively
  • Ability to manage and influence change
