The Refining Financial Services Analyst is a strong analytical accountant to oversee the accuracy of complex refinery financial transactions. This position will perform detailed analysis for various refinery activities to ensure the financial data is being reported timely and accurately for effective decision making and all deadlines are met.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Refinery Gross Margin analysis.

  • Revenue Recognition reporting.

  • Buying/Selling netting reporting.

  • Preparing refinery balance sheet accounts fluctuation analysis.

  • Monitoring intercompany balances for Refining Headquarters.

  • Preparing monthly and annual government and regulatory reporting.

  • Metrics reporting package.

  • Business segment allocation oversight.

  • Responding to audit requests.

Required Qualifications

 
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • Proficient/Advanced in Microsoft EXCEL

  • 5 or more years of accounting finance experience

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of SAP FI and CO

  • Excellent communication, analytical and reconciliation skills

  • Must be a self-starter and can multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills
