The Convent Refinery Project Controls Organization, which is comprised of a mixture of company direct and contract staff, supports the planning, scheduling, cost control, and cost estimating for all Capital and related expense associated with the delivery of 250+ projects. The Project Portfolio Coordinator will track and manage the overall master data of all projects in the capital portfolio from inception to closure.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the project master database with critical project information with input across Project Management, Project Development and Project Controls group.
  • Manage the production of yearly business plan, Results Delivery Team (RDT) scorecard,  and Shell Tracking systems (CAPIN and ETHER).
  • Drive compliance and consistency of data across capital project tools and reports.
  • Facilitate the Project Review Committee (PRC) and Capital Screening Committee (CSC) meetings, track action items and follow Project Initiation Forms (PIFs) and Investment Proposals (IPs) through the screening and approval process. 
  • Collaborate with Project Development and Capital Finance Analyst to review PIFs and IPs for compliance and accuracy.  Must have knowledge of capitalization requirements. 
  • Manage current Key Performance Indicators (KPI) using Excel models to create a visual story of project data.
  • Support initiative to choose and develop software requirements and rollout as it relates to portfolio master data tracking. 
  • Collaborate with Economics and Scheduling to understand current outage schedules and impact to plan.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Capital Finance on compliance items (AUC).
  • Participate in Solomon Benchmarking.
  • Participate in Industry (IPA) Benchmarking.
  • Support Business Planning, Finance and Turnaround Departments as it relates to the capital portfolio.
  • Project portfolio data as required for Site and/or Shell reporting.
