Supports development and execution of Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS), operational discipline and business improvement.



  1. Leads assigned cross-function teams to define and scope continuous improvement initiatives to achieve strategic objectives and drive breakthrough performance.
  2. Collaborates with Business Unit leaders to quantify and assess opportunities ensuring alignment to strategic plan and business objectives.  Engages with personnel at all levels in organization to inform, gain alignment and prioritize.  Leads development of roadmap and action plans.
  3. Serves as change agent to communicate company’s vision and expectations and institutionalize OEMS and Operational Risk methodology.  Shares best practices.  Champions continuous improvement of business efficiencies.  Builds and sustains effective relationships with stakeholders.
  4. Monitors progress through measurement against defined milestones and key metrics.  Communicates progress on site and culture to corporate functional leads and executive steering committee as necessary.
  5. Coaches and mentors on OEMS, Operational Risk methodology and operational discipline to build knowledge of improvement processes.




·         Minimum high school diploma required.

·         Undergraduate degree preferred.


·         Minimum 5 years mid-stream or downstream industry operations  experience as front-line leader  required.

·         Demonstrated significant experience in teamwork and influencing cross-functional teams preferred.


·         Understanding of business strategy and broader Operations knowledge.

·         Able to communicate with all levels to maintain relationships and cooperation. 

·         Able to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus on common goals.
