Are you passionate about safety, building positive relationships, working within a strong team environment, and if you are mechanically savvy and highly motivated, then we have the role for you. Reporting to the shift supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the safe and reliable operation of processes to optimize production in an environmentally responsible manner.


  • Ensure the safety of people, equipment, and the environment and that plant policies are adhered to
  • Learn all operating units within the assigned area of the facility and progress in increasing levels of responsibility at the site
  • Perform plant operation duties for smooth and efficient operations and ensure strong communication and collaboration exists between shift changes
  • Work on a dynamic crew covering a qualified post within an operating unit
  • Report and appropriately flag all plant-related issues beyond your scope to your leader
  • Prepare and complete daily area logs and communicate significant changes and findings in a timely manner
  • Provide direction and supervision to the maintenance and contract personnel as required
  • Ensure timely action and process adjustments during plant upsets that are consistent with operational objectives and target outputs
  • Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance and commissioning
  • Maintain housekeeping at a high level to ensure a safe work environment
