Are you looking for an exciting new career opportunity to join a dynamic team? Reporting to the director of power trading, you will support a cross-functional team with growth initiatives and the day-to-day operation and management of our 24-hour real time power scheduling desk.


  • Manage market dispatches and offer submissions between disparate generation control rooms, the ISO, and the power scheduling desk
  • Manage a team of five schedulers working shifts providing 24/7 coverage 365 days a year
  • Maintain communication protocols and systems in accordance with our electricity trading compliance program and our procedures
  • Front-line responsibility to ensure adherence to internal compliance programs and standards
  • Collaborate with base business operations and power trading team members to develop and execute optimization strategies
  • Support various power marketing growth strategies and the project development as a subject matter expert
  • Determine principles, procedures and execute training to minimize non-compliance and production risks in operations
  • Ensure business software applications are maintained to ensure compliance with new rules or ISO communication standards
