Job Overview
Are you a visionary leader with a depth of experience in information technology (IT) platforms? Reporting to the director, IT enterprise applications, you will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals and managing multiple critical areas of delivery such as: content management and control records (OpenText Suite, Bentley, SharePoint, etc.), web platforms and technology (Sitecore), and software as a service (SAAS) applications (ServiceNow).

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage our operational reliability of the assets with a continuous improvement and operational excellence mindset
  • Responsible for the financial utilization and payments of our assets and operating services
  • Work closely with senior leaders to set the direction for services and business utilization
  • Lead employee and outsourced contractor outputs
  • Provide consulting input to senior management for risk management
  • Engage in proposal for projects and services, and evaluate service provider responses
  • Lead, guide and provide advice to team members through coaching,  training and mentorship

Required Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading IT-related activities, with five years of leadership experience (preferably in a large organization)
  • Five years’ experience in content management, web platform and technology and/or SAAS
  • Post-secondary degree in computer science, engineering or a directly-related field

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong proficiency with enterprise applications
  • Well-developed leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor others
  • You can easily gain the trust and confidence of others and influence with and without direct authority
  • You are someone that can readily problem solve and bring forward new ideas and seek continuous improvement opportunities
  • Your effective communication skills make you a great presenter and you have the ability to consult with a wide variety of partners and diverse groups
