The Scheduler is responsible for supporting multiple sub-departments to schedule and utilize the hourly workforce for day to day operations and assisting with Administrative duties in the Production and Maintenance departments.
 
Scheduling is a critical process used to manage HSSE compliance and personnel time management.  The Scheduling Team is responsible for scheduling hourly personnel in a way that ensures compliance with Fatigue Management Guidelines (API 755), supports unit 24-7 resource needs, and balances personnel time.
 
Schedulers are responsible for assuring that Production and Lab schedules are developed, completed, reviewed, and approved by the appropriate/responsible resource.  Schedules and footnotes are published weekly on Thursday.
 
Schedulers ensure that Operator time management items, such as mandatory training, vacation selection, overtime, disability leave, qualification updates, etc. are integrated into the scheduling process.
 
Schedulers assist in the development of and processing maintenance craft employees daily OT schedules, schedule changes, exceptions, and vacation requests.
 
Schedulers are responsible for entering Maintenance OT, employee absences, and employee time sheet data into Shell People.  Schedulers will input Operations employee time and payroll exceptions into Shell People.

Accountabilities
 
Duties included, but not limited to are:

Work with Team Leaders to perform Schedule Pro health checks.
 
Responsible for Schedule Pro testing and service enhancement requests.  Participate in SchedulePro network teleconferences.
 
Entering, daily tracking, and reporting of Maintenance Craftsman vacation.

Review of craftsman scheduled vacation vs. hours remaining in SAP.

Keep Maintenance Overtime and Seniority lists current.

Track and perform weekly RDO reporting for Maintenance.
 
Track and perform API755 deviation reporting and Maintenance RDO tracking.
 
Provide administrative support to the Production and Maintenance Teams including but not limited to: serve as building accountability focal point, mail distribution, printing and copying documents, ordering lunches, set up building requests and facilitate office moves, supply ordering and storage, onboarding of new hires, radio repair requests, etc.

Solicit for and complete schedule changes.
 
Coordinate annual vacation solicitation process, enter purchased vacation data, and run vacation reports as required.
 
Enter overtime card data, absences, employee timesheets, and other payroll exceptions into Shell People.
 
Enter annual rate increases into Shell People.
 
Build and maintain the Maintenance Duty Roster and Hurricane and Freeze Protection Ride thru Crew Rosters.
As needed, provide V&I coverage for other Scheduler(s).
 
As needed, provide SchedulePro training to the new hire orientation class and other employees.
