The Sarnia Manufacturing Centre is enhancing the delivery model of routine and major maintenance with the addition of maintenance engineer roles. 

The maintenance engineer will play a key role in the day to day reliability of the operating units, along with the effectiveness of the maintenance organization in the delivery of maintenance activities.

Accountabilities Include:

  • Assessing equipment condition, diagnosing faults and failures.
  • Developing and preparing the technical information and details for repairs.
  • Communicating and coordinating work scopes with Operations, Maintenance and Technical teams associated with minor outages and complex repairs.
  • Preforming risk analysis
  • Updating documentation
  • Coordinating management of change elements
