Reporting to the inbound logistics team lead, you will assist in the consolidation, arrangement, and packaging of materials bound for site turnaround events.  You will be highly proactive in providing our teams with direction and insight in support of material identification, consolidation, and transportation in preparation for upcoming events.

  • Collaborate with our warehouse technicians to ensure the timely receipt and kitting of turnaround materials
  • Plan and execute our space optimization strategy leading up to turnaround events
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with planning, execution, and supply chain management teams at site
  • Work with the execution general contractor for material consolidation prior to event execution
  • Build and implement the package, load, and ship plans for turnaround events
  • Work with central transportation teams for the scheduling of shipments to site
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives with a passion for safety

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience with turnaround execution, demand forecasting, and product identification and utilization
  • Valid Alberta Journeyman Certificate or an Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Certificate with experience working in the trades is preferred
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Possess a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, warehousing practices, and procurement channels
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in presentation building and delivery
  • You collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
  • You continually seek greater knowledge about the systems, processes and hazards in the workplace, in order to understand not just what you do but why you do it

Working Conditions

  • This position is based in Edmonton with occasional overnight travel to various facilities in the Wood Buffalo region
  • The shift schedule is Monday to Friday
