  • The main focal point within the relevant business area is to provide Asset Information Management support to Business Unit Projects (BUP), Management of Change (MOC) and turnaround groups to ensure that critical asset information is maintained and updated
  • Manage and oversee compliance to Suncor’s Asset Information standards, procedures, protocols and systems for the entire life cycle of asset information, including changes
  • Promote compliance with our Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) element 11 framework
  • You will provide interpretation of Asset Information requirements and expectations to project team members, CFT and contractors
  • Perform audits with integrity and interpret EDMS audits on data to identify compliance to standards, and data quality and completeness
  • Utilize the non-conformance report (NCR) when non-conformances to Series 100 are reported
  • Advise and support the dynamic project team and cross-functional teams in the use of the Suncor tools utilized to access engineering and other project related records
  • Facilitate training requirements on AIM tools if required, and resolve permission and access issues
  • Act as a super-user and gatekeeper for engineering information management within Suncor EDMS (Livelink and CERLL)
  • Communicate and demonstrate leadership in the ongoing mandate to achieve operational excellence in information management
  • Process the project turnover documentation and support engineering information turnover
  • Identify gaps in document management work processes and suggest/implement improved processes for continuous improvement
  • Provide feedback and continuous improvement suggestions on applications and systems that influence effective management of asset information

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in data/document/records management
  • Document management experience in heavy oil industry operations, engineering or construction project environments would be an asset
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) College technical diploma or a university degree is desirable

  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Professional
  • Livelink experience is an asset
  • Strong social, organizational, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
