  • Streamline the reporting process through SQL
  • Validate forward price curves and pricing analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Monitor and report profit/loss and positions for the financial trading strategies
  • Ensure a strong control environment within Suncor’s trading groups, particularly trading limits (VaR, term, fixed price)
  • Build an in-depth understanding of the governance structure used within Suncor to manage the risk of commodity trading activity
  • Assist in the implementation of processes and reporting requirements to meet Dodd-Frank and EMIR derivative regulations
  • Interact closely with back office accounting staff for month end settlements
  • Perform additional ad hoc analysis and projects as required
