Reporting to the Manager, Finance and Planning within Corporate Functions, you will be responsible to provide decision support to the Human Resources (HR) and Legal teams via your in-depth understanding of business planning process and requirements. Your understanding of their business priorities and needs will allow you to provide fresh insights and perspectives throughout the annual cycle.

  • Provide support with annual business plan and budget preparation, crafting ad hoc forecasts as required
  • Complete monthly management reporting of financial results and trending, operational and strategic data
  • Prepare focused business analytics in support of strategic priorities
  • Enable sound business decisions via your ability to visualize HR and Legal results and trends
  • Complete accounting entries and handle delegation of authority for customer groups
  • Improve existing processes with a focus on efficiency
  • Perform ad hoc and project analysis as required

Required Qualifications

  • Three or more years of related experience
  • Oil and gas experience is preferred
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Preference for completion of, or working toward, your Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
