Do you have experience in turnaround planning or field logistics? Are you able to work under pressure to ensure success? Reporting to the manager, field logistics integration, you will be a primary partner with the business for executing turnaround planning activities.

  • Work effectively as a strategic partner, adding value as the primary point of contact for turnaround planning
  • Facilitate and manage the demand forecasting process including the collection, analysis and proper review of information
  • Identify lodging, busing, aviation and fleet requirements based on the workforce strategy
  • Develop service level agreements for service delivery for turnaround activities
  • Maintain the risk log and develop and implement mitigation plans
  • Share the integrated demand forecast, communicate conflicts and proposed resolutions, and secure consensus on solutions
  • Build stewardship reporting for leadership teams to confirm business requirements are being planned
  • Contribute to the development of the field logistics execution plan for turnarounds and major events
  • Operationalize turnarounds and major events requirements including providing support during execution and for issue resolution
  • Capture feedback from the business to drive continuous improvement opportunities
  • Communicate and obtain endorsement of work plans and strategies to drive agreement and support

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in field logistics, including housing and transporting the field workforce at a remote location or site-wide services, combined with five years of overall work experience
  • Project management experience and working towards PMP certification is an asset
  • Previous background in turnaround planning and maintenance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business

  • In-depth analytical skills and planning experience within the oil and gas industry is a preference
  • Non-authoritative leadership and influencing skills with the ability to build strong, positive relationships
  • Strong written and verbal skills, especially the ability to transform analyses into well-written and easy to understand presentation documents
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional teams in the delivery of major complex projects and initiatives
  • Ability to work independently, displaying ownership and dedication to the job

Working Conditions

  • This position can be based in Calgary or Fort McMurray
