Account Manager, Business Engagement

Reporting to the director, business engagement you will represent the information and process management (I&PM) strategies and service portfolio to business leaders and influencers.  Your business insights and IT understanding will enable you to play a key role in consulting with the business to build consistent and quality business proposals ensuring that business value is generated through the various I&PM plans.


  • Proactively manage customer stakeholder expectations and work with accountable I&PM service owners to address service levels when required
  • Build trust with diverse stakeholder groups in both the business and within I&PM
  • Engage in strategic and tactical discussions with senior leadership stakeholders for the purposes of progressing strategic business and IT outcomes
  • Understand and translate business IT requirements and communicate to management at all levels how I&PM services can support organization operational performance
  • Analyze the costs, benefits and risks of proposed services and solutions to drive strategic investments
  • Hold regular customer reviews and look for patterns within your area of responsibility to find opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Utilize account planning and management methodologies to maintain a high quality of service delivery
  • Ensure process compliance is being upheld within the team and provide feedback for areas of improvement
