MaT Greetings all, I hope one of you can help me with the following: we batch different products on a pipeline coming in to the plant. In particular, we have several bullets where we route the propane/gasoline transmix to. The transmix is stored in the bullets at 180 to 225 psi. I am evaluating cost effective ways to separate the propane from the gasoline. I believe that if I make a pressure cut to below 180 psi, I should be able to vaporise the propane. Once the pressure inside the bullet builds, I should be able to move vapors out of the bullet which will lower the pressure inside and the the vapors should build again until most of the propane is out. I am wondering if anyone has tried this or if my assumptions are incorrect? Thanks in advance for the feedback.
